Kurt Ursich

Here's a little about what's kept me busy:

After many minimum wage jobs (McDonalds - landscaping) I applied at Pacific Northwest Bell. I'm a lifer. Didn't intend to be, but looks like it has happened. I've done everything from directory assistance to high capacity design. Right now I help maintain the database of equipment for high capacity designers. That's a fancy way of saying that I pick up after engineers, fixing their screw-ups. No brainier work so I spend most of the day with my headphones on typing away.

Like most of us I work to play and have picked up (or moved through) several hobbies. Scuba diving was top of the list for a while, but after getting to dive in Hawaii for a couple years in a row I quit diving around here. Around 1982 I got a Commodore 64 computer and have never been the same since. I don't spend every wakening moment on my PC, but quite a bit of time there doing everything from downloading mp3's to dabbling in a little reverse engineering. I play all the indoor sports (darts, pool, shuffleboard, pinball and most video games) and even get outdoors to fish or play golf.
